Doug Weinstein - Co-Owner / COO
Doug is a classically trained bakery/pastry/culinary veteran with 35-years of experience. Doug has worked in some of the best known establishments in Southern California including: Westin Century Plaza Hotel, Westin South Coast Plaza, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Checkers Hotel, The Broadway Deli, More Than a Mouthful Catering. Doug worked for culinary icons such as Michel Richard, Bruce Marder, Thomas Kellar, Christian Rebufat, Barry Colman as well as Colin Cowie, party planner to the stars. Doug has used his culinary skills to benefit the Jewish community in Long Beach and most recently Santa Barbara. Most notably establishing the Challah program for the Santa Barbara Jewish Federation which delivers up to 200 challot per week, as well as additional baked items for holidays and special events. Doug has also taught classes at Congregation B’nai Brith in SB, Temple Israel in Long Beach, and also cooks for the senior lunch program called the Schmooze room feeding up to 70 seniors per week. Doug is the host of "Get Baked With Chef Doug" a zoom cooking show sponsored by the Santa Barbara Jewish Federation and airs the first and third Thursday of the Month.
Mark & Kathleen Cronin - Co-Owners
Mark & Kathleen have a long history of success with retail and hospitality businesses. Kathleen started and operated some of the most popular and successful Bed and Breakfast locations in Santa Barbara, CA. Kathleen and Mark also created Kathleen Marie's Pure Delights making the best cream scones ever and available in cafes, coffee shops and gourmet markets across Central and Southern California including Whole Foods Market.
Ramon Luna - Baker
Ramon has been a baker at Diamond Bakery for over 28 years. Ramon was trained by the original owners Mr. Lottman and Mr. Rubinstein. Thanks to the commitment and dedication of Ramon and his sons, Diamond Bakery survived the Pandemic and will continue to thrive under his leadership. Ramon has never missed a day, never called in sick and has maintained the traditional recipes as they were intended. We are honored to have Ramon on our team.
